Graham Hitchcock is a New Zealand cast glass maker. He is driven by a hyperactive mind and every day things are often sensed in abstract forms and colours. When Graham discovered sculpting he was able to express himself in new ways that were satisfying to the soul as he explored the intricate processes of using glass and bronze.  His works in general have subtle connections across the mediums used.  Hitchcock values feelings of intense joy and happiness as much as the painful feelings of sadness and loss.
"I hope that my art will make the observer smile, laugh or question and most of all, feel."
I bought this piece of Cast glass at NZ glass works in Whanganui.  (Powelliphanta shell.)
