Portraits
A great deal of my commission work is portraiture. I complete these paintings from life drawings. I travel regularly in NZ and can includes client sittings in these trips or clients can visit my studio in Nelson. The resulting painting is my interpretation and style; it is not a photo likeness but an intrinsic reflection of the person or group. I feel my pictures are a vivid portrayal of the ones you love, and become treasured by your family.

My Work
My works are on heavy grade watercolour paper, 560mm x 760mm, and are unframed. The size of the actual image is smaller than the paper. My medium is gouache, a water based paint that produces vivid colour.

A commissioned portrait is NZ$800 for a single portrait, and NZ$1050 for double or group portrait, plus delivery. A deposit of NZ$100 is required to confirm a commission.
